2026.09.11

From September 2 to 7, 2026 (Zambia time), CAMCO Group's 2027 Development Strategy and Business Plan Seminar was held in Lusaka, Zambia. Themed "Focusing on Growth, Enhancing Efficiency, Strengthening Operations, and Pursuing Collaborative Development," the seminar was chaired by Mr. Li Tie, Chairman of the Group, who delivered a keynote address on corporate strategy. Also in attendance were Mr. Han Jing, Vice President of the Group; Mr. Liu Yongqin, Group Operations Director and General Manager of the Electromechanical Business Division; Mr. George Mulenga, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration (Africa Region); and general managers, senior executives, and core management personnel from subsidiary companies in Zambia, Malawi, Kenya, Cameroon, Tanzania, and China.

During the seminar, Chairman Li Tie systematically reviewed the Group's development journey since its founding in 1998 and nearly three decades of deep cultivation in Africa. He provided an in-depth analysis of the long-term opportunities and development trends in the African market, articulated a new annual operating philosophy oriented toward high-quality development with efficiency enhancement at its core, and made strategic deployments regarding the Group's strategic direction, the positioning of each business segment, and the improvement of operational quality. Mr. Liu Yongqin presided over the annual review of the Electromechanical Business Division, guiding participants to examine the pathway of business transformation under the theme "From Sales Management to Comprehensive Business Management."

In the business discussion sessions, heads of overseas companies and core management teams engaged in in-depth exchanges focused on practical challenges in the African market. Topics covered agricultural machinery market development, key account expansion, construction machinery marketing management, new energy market development, and automotive business development. Heads of business segments including Camco Zambia, Camco Kenya, and Camco Motors delivered dedicated presentations on market development strategies and business synergy, drawing on frontline operational experience.

On this basis, the seminar convened dedicated sessions on the 2027 annual business plans for each overseas subsidiary. Group management and company heads reviewed annual targets and implementation pathways item by item, building consensus and clarifying direction, thereby laying a solid foundation for the year's operational work.

The six-day seminar was both intensive and pragmatic, advancing business development while consolidating management fundamentals. In addition to strategic discussions and business reviews, the seminar featured dedicated management training modules covering topics such as building comprehensive business management capabilities, cash flow and inventory control, accounts receivable and operational risk prevention, cross-cultural team building and leadership, and performance management and incentive systems. These topics addressed common management challenges inherent in the Group's multi-country operations, reflecting the Group's ongoing deepening from business expansion toward organizational capacity building.

Consensus has been forged, and the pathway is clear. Standing at the new starting point of twenty-eight years of deep cultivation in Africa, CAMCO Group is advancing toward its 2027 journey with firmer strategic resolve and clearer organizational logic. Participants expressed their commitment to translating the seminar's outcomes into practical action, upholding the corporate culture of "Integrity as the Foundation, Vision for the Long Term," and taking "Focusing on Growth, Enhancing Efficiency, Strengthening Operations, and Pursuing Collaborative Development" as their guide. Grounded in the present while planning for the long term, they are committed to writing a new chapter of win-win China-Africa cooperation through continued deep cultivation in the African market.
