On October 7, 2026 (Zambia local time), Hon. Eng. Abel Ng'andu, MP for Lusaka's Chawama Constituency, led a delegation to Camco Motors (Zambia) Ltd. for an inspection visit. The delegation held in-depth discussions with the Camco Motors team on topics including new energy vehicles, local youth employment, and leveraging the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to empower industry, jointly exploring new paths for mutually beneficial local development.
Mr. Gombien, New Energy Vehicle Sales Director of Camco Motors, warmly welcomed the delegation. He accompanied the MP's team on a field visit to the showroom, vehicle display area, and after-sales maintenance workshop, and gave a comprehensive introduction to the Group's business layout and development plans in Zambia.

Having operated in the Zambian market for many years, Camco Motors, as the automotive business segment of Camco Group, has continuously introduced cost-effective fuel-powered and new energy vehicle models and built a complete service system integrating vehicle sales, after-sales service, and spare parts supply. The company remains committed to pragmatic local operations and deep integration into Zambia's economic ecosystem, providing local customers with reliable mobility products and professional services. At the same time, it continues to employ local labor, creating numerous jobs and earnestly fulfilling the local social responsibility of an overseas Chinese-funded enterprise.
At the showroom, Gombien highlighted several flagship new energy vehicle models to Hon. Eng. Abel Ngandu, explaining in detail the supporting charging infrastructure construction plans and practical application scenarios, and elaborating on the core advantages of new energy vehicles in reducing operating costs and promoting green, low-carbon environmental protection.

Hon. Eng. Abel Ngandu listened carefully to the overall project report and fully affirmed Camco Motors' development achievements in the Zambian market. He highly recognized the company's sense of responsibility in taking root locally and supporting youth employment. The MP stated that the automotive industry is an important driver of local economic growth, and new energy is a key direction for Zambia's future mobility development. Chawama Constituency has a large number of unemployed youth, and he will actively promote Camco Motors' related employment projects to young people in the constituency, helping more local youth obtain stable employment opportunities and increase household income.

Gombien expressed gratitude to the MP and the constituency government for their recognition and support of Camco Group. He stated that, relying on the Group's development layout of being rooted in Africa and deeply cultivating local operations, Camco Motors will uphold a pragmatic and long-term development approach and continuously improve new energy vehicles and charging infrastructure. The company will actively seek support from the constituency government, strengthen new energy-related business, and work with local government to tap local employment potential. While consolidating its own business, it will contribute to Zambia's green mobility transition and promote the sound development of Chawama Constituency's economy and people's livelihood.
