From July 24 to 27, 2025, CAMCO Group organized a cultural team-building trip for employees from Shanghai, Hunan, and Shandong to Henan Province, enhancing cross-regional collaboration and strengthening corporate cohesion through immersive exploration of Central Plains culture. The itinerary covered Kaifeng and Luoyang, two ancient capitals, featuring landmarks including The Song Dynasty Of Kungfu City, Millennium City Park, Shaolin Temple, and Longmen Grottoes, strategically linking Henan's iconic sites to offer a profound historical experience.
Cultural Immersion: Tracing Ancient Footsteps
At The Song Dynasty of Kungfu City, the nighttime datiehua (striking iron flowers) performance stole the spotlight as artisans transformed molten iron into golden sparks under the night sky, resembling a meteor shower. Dou Xiaomeng of Finance Department Ⅲ remarked, “Beyond visual impact, this traditional craft showcases ancient artisans' ingenuity and bravery, commanding professional respect.”
Inside, pavilions, towers, and market shops mirrored scenes from "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", creating a dreamlike ambiance that transported visitors to Song Dynasty life.
At Shaolin Temple, the Zen-martial arts demonstration proved deeply impressive, with monks performing precise boxing forms and disciplined staff techniques; touring the ancient Hall of Heavenly Kings and Sutra Repository amid resonating temple bells, Zan Wendong of Business Department observed: “This immersion in Zen-martial harmony evoked profound tranquility and reverence.”
At Longmen Grottoes, the delegation stood in awe before the Vairocana Buddha. Before the 17-meter-tall statue, Dou Xiaomeng expressed feeling “both humbled and profoundly reverent”, while Li Meixian of Business Department was deeply impressed by the monumental stone carving complex, particularly marveling at the exquisite craftsmanship.

Beyond cultural immersion, this trip enhanced integration among regional teams.
As a first-time participant, Li Meixian shared, “Whether climbing stone steps or strolling through scenic paths, colleagues were always by my side, turning lengthy journeys into enjoyable adventures,” fostering strong bonds.
Zhang Nan of Marketing Department acknowledged logistical support, noting HR & Admin provided drinking water, motion-sickness and heatstroke medication, with memorable catering arrangements including specialties like Hulatang (Peppery Hot Soup) and guantangbao (Soup Dumplings), enabling full focus on the journey.
Zan Wendong highlighted the trip's dual benefits of cultural enrichment and team bonding, with shared experiences enhancing connectivity among colleagues. Zhang Nan added, "The outdoor team-building program revealed complementary strengths, establishing foundations for more effective collaboration."
