On May 20th, Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) and regional farmers associations visited Camco Equipment (Zambia) Ltd. with almost one hundred Chair persons of various regional farmers associations. The welcome ceremony was held in the showrrom of Camco Equipment (Zambia) Ltd., presided over by Mr. George Mulenga, Director of Human Resources and Administration, Mr. Li Tie, Chairman of Camco Group, Mr. Xu Jiadong, the General Manager of Camco Equipment (Zambia) Ltd., Eng. Bernard Chiwala, the Marketing Director, Mr. David Sakala, Agro & Agro Product Processing Equipment Dept. Manager, and the Camco team attended the reception.
The Zambia National Farmers Union is a national organization composed of farmers associations from all over the country, representing local farmers. It aims to safeguard the interests of individual farmers and the interests of agriculture-related enterprises and institutions, to promote the sustainable development of Zambia's agriculture, economy and society. The Zambia National Farmers Union actively shares economic information with its members, give suggestions to the government, organizes agricultural activities to unite farmers.

Mr. Li Tie, Chairman of Camco Group, delivered a keynote speech on how to realize agricultural mechanization in Zambia and increase value addition on agricultural products. Chairman Mr. Li Tie thanked farmers from all over Zambia for their support and trust in Camco Equipment. He introduced the key projects and promotion activities of Camco Equipment. He said Camco is willing to deepen cooperation with the National Farmers Union on providing agricultural equipment to farmers based on their needs to promote the development of agricultural mechanization in Zambia.

Mr. David Sakala, the Agro & Agro Product Processing Equipment Dept. Manager of Camco Equipment (Zambia) Ltd., introduced the development of Camco Equipment's agricultural products, leasing business and agricultural mechanization in Zambia.
The Camco team introduced the agricultural machinery and equipment and operating procedures in the showroom to the National Farmers Association. Products like Lovol tractors, Debont seeders, Weichai generator sets, Shuangxiang oil expeller, and Ruirong pumps are very popular among farmers. Some customers directly ordered agricultural irrigation equipment on the spot.
On behalf of the visitors, the Farmers Union expressed gratitude to Camco Equipment, and hoped to expand cooperation with Camco Equipment in agricultural machinery in the future. The chairman of the farmer associations who came to visit benefited a lot and were deeply inspired. “It was a fruitful trip” stressed Mr Joseph Mungandi who is the 2nd Vice President of ZNFU.
