On September 24–25, 2026 (local time in Zambia), the 2026 Annual Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by Chilanga Cement Plc, grandly teed off at Chilanga Golf Club. The event was held in conjunction with Zambia's renowned President's Putter golf tournament, bringing together local political and business elites to raise charitable funds through the power of sport. Camco Motors (Zambia) Ltd., a subsidiary of Camco Group, participated in this grand occasion as a major sponsor.

All funds raised from this tournament will be dedicated to Our Lady of Mercy Hospice, Mitanda Home for the Aged, and Chilanga Golf Academy, providing financial support for patients, the elderly, and the cultivation of young golf talent, ensuring that the value of sports competition translates into tangible benefits for people's livelihoods.

Since entering the African market in 1998, Camco Group has been rooted in Zambia for over two decades. Its business portfolio spans engineering machinery, automobile distribution, real estate development, and talent training. The Group implements localized operations, builds localized teams, and establishes a comprehensive full-chain after-sales service system to introduce cost-effective Chinese-manufactured products to the African market. While fulfilling its role as a bridge for China-Africa trade and creating commercial value, the Group adheres to the business philosophy of "giving back to society with responsibility," closely integrating corporate development with local livelihood and well-being, proactively participating in local public welfare, cultural, and sports initiatives, and deeply embedding itself in the development of local communities.

At the event site, Camco Motors set up a dedicated vehicle display area, showcasing the JAC T9 high-performance pickup, the Jetour T2 rugged off-road SUV, and the Dongfeng VIGO new energy vehicle. These models are well-suited to Zambia's complex road conditions, balancing off-road capability, payload capacity, and the comfort of new energy driving. They attracted numerous tournament guests and business professionals who stopped to experience and inquire, offering a direct demonstration of the technological strength of China's automotive industry. On the course, golfers from all walks of life competed in friendly matches; in the display area, Chinese and African participants engaged in friendly exchanges, making the sporting event an important platform for economic and trade showcases and cultural mutual learning.

This sponsorship of the charity golf tournament is a vivid practice of Camco Group's business philosophy of "giving back to society with responsibility." Using sports as a vehicle for communication, the Group connects Chinese and African communities, promotes the exchange of ideas, and cultivates the grassroots foundation of China-Africa friendship. Camco Group will continue to serve as a trade bridge between China and Africa. While deepening China-Africa economic and trade connections and introducing quality Chinese-manufactured products, the Group will remain committed to local public welfare, cultural, and sports initiatives—empowering society through trade and writing a new chapter in China-Africa cooperation through concrete action.
