Hunan Shuangfeng County Delegation Visits CAMCO Kenya

Nairobi, Kenya - 23rd August, 2025 - A trade and economic delegation from Shuangfeng County, Hunan Province, visited CAMCO Equipment (Kenya) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CAMCO-Kenya") for a friendly visit and business exchange‌. The delegation was led by Mr. Wu Hequn, Standing Deputy County Magistrate of the Shuangfeng County People's Government, accompanied by Mr. Peng Liming, Secretary-General of the Shuangfeng County Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as well as representatives from Shuangfeng County enterprises and government departments (including ‌Mr. Zhu Hongchun of Hunan Jinfeng Machinery Technology Co., Ltd.‌ and ‌Mr. Wang Tieyan of Hunan Guofan Machinery Sales Co., Ltd.‌).

The delegation was warmly received by CAMCO-Kenya's General Manager, Mr. Andy He, along with key company representatives including Operations Manager Mr. Zhang Zhishen, and General Manager Assistant Ms. Liu Huanhuan. Amid warm applause, Mr. He delivered a welcome speech, expressing gratitude for the delegation's visit and emphasizing that this was not only a platform for cooperative exchange, but also could be a catalyst for win-win development in the agricultural machinery industry between China and Africa‌.

During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation, expanding markets, and promoting the integrated development of the China-Africa agricultural machinery industry chain. The delegation reviewed CAMCO-Kenya's market insights and proposed ideas on product localization, after-sales service development, and potential joint R&D directions. All agreed that Africa’s growing mechanization offers significant opportunities, with the priority being to align advanced machinery with local needs.

Mr. Zhu Hongchun, a representative from Jinfeng Machinery, introduced products such as rice mills, coffee hullers, and cassava processing machines, all designed for simplicity and ease of operation to suit African market needs. Mr. Zhu stated, "Jinfeng Machinery has clearly defined its strategic direction for the African market and is seeking reliable partners like CAMCO." Mr. Wang Tieyan added, "Jinfeng Machinery's independently developed combine harvester can harvest both corn and soybeans, offering a multi-purpose solution that provides users with greater flexibility." Both parties agreed that ensuring product quality while expanding new product lines will be a key focus for future cooperation.

The visit concluded successfully in a pragmatic atmosphere. Both Shuangfeng County officials and enterprise representatives expressed optimism about future cooperation. They agreed to explore cooperation in equipment sales, after-sales service, product development, and market expansion, jointly promoting Chinese agricultural machinery to meet African demand.
