On 25th June, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Malawi, H.E. Lu Xu paid a site visit to CAMCO EQUIPMENT LTD. in Malawi, accompanied by Counsellor Zhang Chunfa. The delegation received a warm welcome from company management and staff.
During the facility tour guided by company executives, Ambassador Lu inspected the export warehouse, showroom, and the company's office operations and employee living conditions, to better understand the company's business operations and current challenges.
In subsequent bilateral discussions, the company presented its business layout in Malawi, market achievements and challenges, as well as practices in supporting local infrastructure and agricultural mechanization. Ambassador Lu encouraged the company to address the problem by innovating business models, enhancing safety awareness and fulfilling social responsibilities.
Concluding the visit, CAMCO in Malawi leadership affirmed: “Ambassador Lu's engagement has produced concrete dialogue to elevate our bilateral cooperation framework. We value the Chinese Embassy in Malawi's enduring partnership and look forward to expanding synergies that serve our shared development goals in this priority African market.”
