On March 8 local time, the five-day 2026 National Trade Fair of the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) concluded successfully at the Eldoret Exhibition Center. CAMCO EQUIPMENT (KENYA) LTD., a subsidiary of Camco Group, stood out among numerous local and international exhibitors and won the First Prize for Best Booth in Agriculture and Earthmoving Machinery, thanks to its professional booth design and high-performance product lineup.
The 2026 ASK National Trade Fair was themed “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Sustainable Economic Development.” It attracted thousands of agricultural professionals from across East Africa, focusing on smart agricultural technologies and equipment tailored to local needs. Camco Kenya highlighted its three core product categories: power machinery, logistics equipment, and energy solutions. Key exhibits included the LOVOL 75 series tractor, available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations to suit Kenya’s heavy tillage conditions; the Foton Tunland G7 pickup, built on the Cummins engine and Daimler technology platform, which has become the preferred logistics vehicle for commercial farmers; and the Weichai series diesel generator sets, covering a power range of 20 to 150 kW, offering low emissions and high reliability to ensure stable energy supply for agricultural production.
A highlight of the trade fair was the official tractor parade. His Excellency Jonathan Bii, Governor of Uasin Gishu County, visited the Camco Kenya booth, where he observed the value of Chinese agricultural machinery technology and test-drove the LOVOL 75-horsepower 4WD tractor. He highly commended the equipment for being “easy to operate and comfortable to drive,” emphasizing that such high-performance machinery is crucial for reducing production costs and increasing crop yields, and will inject key momentum into the county’s agricultural mechanization efforts.
During the trade fair, the Camco Kenya booth saw a significant increase in inquiries, with multiple cooperation intentions and on-site sales orders secured—a clear indication of Kenyan farmers’ growing recognition of Chinese agricultural machinery brands. A company representative stated that this award reflects the trust placed in Camco by Kenya’s agricultural community.
