On 3rd September, 2025, a grand cultural gala with the theme of "Justice Prevails" is staged to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China. State and Party leaders, along with approximately 6,000 Chinese and international guests, attended the event. Mr. Li Tie, Chairman of CAMCO Group and Overseas Chinese Community Representative, was honored to represent overseas Chinese communities as an invited guest.
The Grand Auditorium of the Great Hall of the People was brilliantly lit, with a banner on the second-floor balcony reading "Remember History, Honor Fallen Heroes, Cherish Peace, and Create a Better Future". At the center of the stage, the golden characters “Justice Prevails” stood out prominently, while the Great Wall motif embodied the resilience of the Chinese nation. Mr. Li Tie was deeply moved by the event's solemnity and hopeful spirit.
The gala opened with the multimedia performance “Mountains and Rivers Remember”, featuring five thematic chapters and an epilogue. Through dance, drama, poetry recitation, and other artistic forms, it portrayed the Communist Party of China's leadership during the war and the spirit of the era. The chapters—“Roar, Yellow River”, “Red Star Over China”, “An Invincible Force”, “A Shared Dawn”, and “Justice Eternal”—commemorated the Chinese people's heroic resistance, the Party's pivotal role in the war, the immense power of people's warfare, China's contributions to the global anti-fascist struggle, and the enduring truth of justice in the new era. The epilogue “A Shared Future for Mankind” echoed the vision of a global community, culminating in a rousing rendition of “Ode to the Motherland”.
A long-time advocate for cultural exchange and peace, Mr. Li Tie expressed profound honor in attending. "Victory in the war was bought with the lives of our martyrs," he stated. "In times of peace, we must remember history and carry forward its spirit. As an overseas Chinese, I will keep bridging China and the world, contributing to the development of the motherland, and present a true and multidimensional image of China to the global community.”
