From September 11 to 12, 2025, an International Cooperation Conference on Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Industrial and Supply Chains was held in Weifang. Co-organized by the Provincial and Municipal Councils for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and other relevant departments, the event focused on deep industry integration and upstream-downstream collaboration. It attracted 24 overseas business associations from over 10 countries, including Russia, Japan, and African nations, as well as more than 30 leading local enterprises such as Weichai Lovol. Through policy briefings, market promotions, and business matchmaking, the conference facilitated cross-border partnerships in the intelligent agricultural machinery sector.
As a special guest at the conference, Mr. Li Tie, Chairman of CAMCO Group, analyzed Africa's agricultural development trends and agricultural machinery demand, providing actionable insights to help local enterprises tap into African market opportunities.
During the conference's results presentation, CAMCO MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT (a member company of CAMCO Group) and WEICHAI LOVOL officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The collaboration encompasses: exporting intelligent agricultural machinery, developing a China-Africa Smart Farm Demonstration Project, establishing joint talent development and technology promotion programs, and building local manufacturing facilities with supply chain collaboration. Through these initiatives, the two parties aim to enhance the influence of Chinese intelligent agricultural machinery in Africa and deepen China-Africa cooperation in agricultural modernization.
After the conference, the CAMCO Group delegation, along with overseas clients and domestic attendees, visited Weichai Lovol, Luzhong Tractor, etc. enterprises to gain firsthand insight into Weifang’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities in intelligent agricultural machinery.
